What the hell? No wonder my name is being booed at and hated by many people. It is because of those losers posing as Dotagods who makes me look bad. People like "Bleh70" shouldn't even be called a Dotagod. It's the biggest insult I have ever heard. It's a sure win to the "Insult the real DotaGod award". Wanna see proof on this "Bleh70" loser? Click this link. Well, theres actually more but they really do not deserve my time so I won't bother with those LOSERS.

Being Dotagod is no easy task. While my disciples number continues to increase (which is good), so does my enemy number (those fools). It appears that this world is not yet ready for a Savior (me). Why? Look at my enemies and you shall see (guffaw).

So what have I been doing lately? Well, you should know that my life doesn't revolve around Dota. I am no fool like those fake Dotagods. I have been spending time lately with my Dotababe. You wanna know who she is? Haha you think?? Well, this should be Heaven-sent news for those fake Dotagods because I won't be around much to kick their ***. *guffaw*

Here is a message for my disciples. Train hard, OWNAGE those braggarts and I shall reward you by OWNING you as well. There is no greater glory than being OWNED by yours truly. *guffaw*

Have you ever seen someone play so good that you start worshipping him? Or perhaps have you ever heard of people falling in love because of another's skills? Well, look nowhere else, because I am the living legend.

Going back to the sponsored tournament I mentioned in my previous post, not only did my disciples count increase by 40 (exact count = 46), but also did my girlfriends. Since there were girls who joined the tournament, after playing against me, they started falling in love. My Dotagodness cannot be resisted. Even gays are starting to look at me strangely... ohh sh*t!

But among those ladies who fell in love with me, one of them stands out. For the purpose of her privacy, I shall not write her name here. Nonetheless, our love story began after a game against her team. She was the only one I cannot kill. Moreover, she was the only one who killed me (but I have Aegis). That was a major breakthrough, though I didn't drop my Divine Rapier because of that, but it seems I accidentally dropped my heart. She picked it up without any hesitation.

It won't be long before we begin our story together. When that day comes, my blog will become "our" blog. Instead of just Dotagod, there will be Dotababe as well. We shall OWNAGE together forever. No one can break us apart nor kill any one of us.

Normally, when guys court girls, he'll make impossible promises like "I'll give you anything your heart desires. My love for you can move mountains. etc etc". But those are just words, in my case, I promise her that no one can break us apart in DotA. We will be together forever owning those fools. We shall have our marriage in front of Roshan and after that OWNAGE Roshan as well. And to prove it all, I shall TRIPLE KILL, MONSTER KILL anyone who becomes an obstacle.

Who can ever resist my charms? With my superior intelligence + super good looks + Dotagod aura, no ladies on Earth can resist me. *guffaw* But fear not everyone, I will only love one person at a time. And that person is my Dotababe. *guffaw*

Another Tournament OWNAGE

Hi, Dotagod TanLaw signing in. After several tournament games in a row, I finally have time to rest up. I've been OWNING one tournament after another using random heroes. What's new? *guffaw*

Today's edition of my DotA adventure will be regarding the tournament set up by our wonderful professor who sponsored my OWNAGE. Everyone in our class and from the other classes have witnessed my greatness. How I TRIPLE KILLED my opponents one after another. As reward for the sponsorship of our professor, I personally gave him a taste of OWNAGE. Now they know why people call me the Dotagod. Its not something I called myself personally, rather its something people call me after playing with/against me. *guffaw*

About the highlights, this tournament is different from my usual one-man team tournaments. This is because we were required to play 5v5 against other groups. Of course, in my group we were called Team ONIJ, because of me. Originally they planned on staying at the fountain and watch me OWN the game, but I cannot accept that. I told them it would be more fun to OWN together with me. *guffaw*

Overall, the sponsored tournament wasn't much of a challenge. I even gave my opponents free kills (my teammates) to make them gain confidence. Plus I purposedly dropped divine rapiers (using "poultry" a.k.a. chicken) for them as "game balance" tactics. The reason is because it wouldn't be much of a challenge if they don't have strong items like that. I play fair you know. *guffaw*

Just so you know, I average 50 kills per game. But in the sponsored tournament, my average increased by 5. Just do the math. *guffaw*

What about my deaths average? Quoted from my first entry: "Even if its easy to count from zero to one, you wont be counting anything when you look at my deaths column." *guffaw*

TanLaw is Back!

Its almost been a whole month since I last posted here. If you ask me what I've been doing the past few days.. well, OWNAGE!! What did you expect? *guffaw*

To be honest, I've experienced my first defeat in Battlenet history on April 12, 2006. Congratulations to team "YeuG", "bawalkulot", "tubero1234", and "teamkai". They have proven that through teamwork, even the great Dotagod (also known as me) can be defeated. Well, since this blog is about my Dota Adventures, then even my defeats should be posted here. Unfortunately, this was my only defeat. *guffaw*

The game was a 4v4 battle. My disciples teamed up with me and challenged another team in eurobattlenet. The hero matchup were: (us) Shadow Shaman, Necrolyte, Butcher, and Leviathan vs. (them) Death Prophet, Bane Elemental, Lightning Revenant, and Sand King. In the first half of the game, we were somewhat OWNING them.. unfortunately, afterwards they were able to counter us and just got too powerful after OWNING my disciples. I had a hard time since a lot of their heroes are disablers. In the end, we were beaten and I want to say congratulations to them.

For my fans around the world, I promise that such a shameful game will never again happen. Rather than being a one-man OWNAGE machine.. I shall become the team-supporting Dotagod. Oh, and by the way, some time in April, my disciples encountered in the battlenet one of those fools who flamed my blog. That fool revealed his identity claiming he and his friends flamed my blog, thus in the game, that fool was totally OWNAGED. The Time Has Come

Ohh yeah!! Finals is over and after a long break from DotA in the Battlenet, I have finally returned. It didn't take long for me to start OWNAGE-ing again because those so-called "pros" didn't know what hit them. A long time ago, I only join DotA games in the Battlenet where the word "Pros only" appear, but now, it doesn't seem fair for them anymore. 5v5 against pros is like playing DotA against babies. Of course, unless they have good teamwork and uses combo heroes, they don't stand a chance against me (alone). So that is why, recently, I host games with this gamename: "TanLAw OWNAGE Time 1v5 Pros with Teamwork only". I believe that by doing so, I can exercise my real skill and OWNAGE real people rather than the 5 AI (-superai) that I used to practice before.

Well, to be honest, I never had a good game yet under that gamename. The reason being, after I kill 3-4 of them simultaneously, they all leave at once. Its such a shame for them to call themselves "pros". That is why, I now maintain my own Banlist wherein I list all pros & noobs who leaves the game after being OWNED (by me). So far, based on experience, 90% of those who fought against me were added to my Banlist. The remaining 10% begged me to become my disciples. *guffaw*

Believe it or not, its true. One of them even wrote songs about me. I believe it can be found here.

Well, I'm off to the Battlenet again. The world is waiting for me to OWN it. *guffaw*

It seems that my blog is creating chaos within the DotA community. I guess I am partially to blame because its hard for people to accept that a superior DotA player like myself exist. But enough about myself, there is something I wish to clear up to the world.

Ownage Issue #3 (Soon-to-be)

You may be wondering why I have placed "Soon-to-be" on this issue, because this will be happening anytime soon. My dotagod sense tells me that there will be a DotA Tournament on March 4. And the organizers are trying to keep it a secret from me because they do not want it to be a one-sided battle when I make my presence known. Those foolish fools, nothing can be hidden from Mr. Ownage himself. *guffaw*

Now that I was able to get the details about this tournament, it seems that there is a catch. As much as I'd want to OWNAGE noobs by myself, it needs 5 players to make a team. So for the first time in history, I am giving 4 lucky noobs to be a part of my team. Give me an email if you want to take this chance of a lifetime.

But this will not be a walk in the park, I'm expecting my email to overflow once everyone has read this post and wants to be part of my team. So I will be requiring everyone to battle the great dotagod and here are some straightforward rules to pick the 4 lucky noobs:

Any mode will do, you can even pick the hero I will use if you wish
You will be a part of my team if you are able to meet one of these two conditions:

Reach level 2, OR
Bring my hitpoints down to 1/2

Just in case that the number of emails is overwhelming that I'm running short on time even though I can finish each 1v1 game in a minute, it is fine with me if it will be 1v5. The same rules apply. *guffaw*

Imposter Issue #1

Oh my.. I'm so famous already that people are starting to use my codename "DarKNess". I found this in a DotAGod fanblog which I won't mention here... it is a replay where a n0ob is using my name. What a loser!!

Correct me if I am wrong, but this loser only had 1 kill and 5 deaths. The 1 kill there cannot even be considered a kill, its more of a kill steal. I've never seen such an insult to my abilities. To the person who used my name... whoever you are, I challenge you to a 1v1 game. I'll make sure you don't even reach level 2 against me. Then again, you aren't even worth beating, foolish little fool. *guffaw*

Anyway, for my real fans out there, let me share to you my comments on the loser's game. First and foremost, since this is a 3v3 -dm -ar game, this loser should have sticked with Barathum (Spirit Breaker) or Sven (Rogueknight). But then, it seems this loser cannot stay alive for more than 10 minutes. Though I can say that his farming skill is a bit above average, it is still less than half as good as my farming skills. *guffaw*

I believe that is the only compliment I can give to this pathetic bogus DarKNess. He probably doesn't even know the word OWNAGE. What a pity.

Finally, a last piece of advice for my phony fan.. If you want to beat me, despise me, hate me, and play DotA in an unsightly way... and when the time comes when you have the same eyes as me, then I might give you the chance to face me and lose completely like a n0ob.

Protips Issue # 1

Hi and welcome to my first post regarding the Pro tips. I wont take much of your time since every minute lost should have been a hero killed in action by my hands.
So without further talk from me, here is my protip number....

Are you tired of killing heroes left and right? tired of knowing the outcome of the battle once you sit down in front of the pc? tired of hearing the same voices saying mega kill, triple kill, oh sh!t! over and over and over again... then you are lying! cause the only person who has experienced these stuff is ME! no exceptions! *guffaw*

so in an attempt to give my puny opponents some kind of a challenge.. here is my new playing style...

Some basic movelists to be a pro:
single Kill - down, down/forward, forward + square (even a baby can do this)
double kill - back, back, forward + square, X, triangle(my usual warm-up
triple kill - forward + circle, up, triangle, triangle, square + circle(Rare chance for others to time perfectly, I do 100s of these everyday)
OWNAGE - square, square, forward, X, L1 (sorry, usable by the dotagod Only)

Practice a lot and make me your goal... but.. your unreachable goal!

Ownage Issue #2

Feast your eyes on my first ever official DotA replay. It features my outstanding, exceptional, dazzling, marvelous, stupendous OWNAGE skills! For your information, my codename in the game is "DarKNess". It is a 2v2 game featuring Allen+Deryk vs Amiel+Lawrence. Of course you should realize by now that it was a major mismatch. But nonetheless, I gave them a fair handicap by playing with only 2.5% of my total skills. How did I do that? Well, its the same as how Taguro uses his power.

Nevertheless, you can find my first official OWNAGE replay. A little side comment though, you have to have Dota 6.27b map in order to view it. Moreover, its filename must be "DotA Allstars v6[1].27b" or else it won't work. Anyway, I assure you it will be worth your while. Just watch how I play and surely you're one step closer in becoming a DotAGod like me. *guffaw*

As my comment for those losers who fought blindly against me, they should realize that I already warned them to remake the game. Because they barely had 1% chance of winning using those pathetic characters. But I guess they were lucky enough to witness the power of my INVINCIBLE naga siren and be able to damage it by more than half of its HP. Well, I guess it is to be expected as I didn't use more than 3% of my total skills. *guffaw*

Anyway, I hope you guys enjoy the replay. Practice makes perfect. Remember, OWNAGE is everything!

Ownage Issue #1

Mark this day, my first ever recorded DotA game in the greatest DotA blog in the world. Take note: "the greatest". As of today, my official record stands at 2-0. *guffaw* It seems that my friends (refer to the losers on my first post) are planning to test my almighty skills. Ha! Like they even stand a chance! But nonetheless, they made use of nuking heroes (Lich, Lina Inverse, and Necrolyte) to concentrate all their spells on me and try to finish me off with their dagons. Those foolish fools, I've told them earlier that it takes 5 disablers just to bring my health down to 1/2. Anyway, unfortunately for them, I have my own traps waiting to be released.

The first game was in -ap mode. And like what I said earlier, my opponents made use of nuking heroes just to kill me even once. Ha! Those pathetic dogs didn't know what hit them. Little did they know that my Naga Siren is invincible. There was no way for them to see through my illusions technique. You see, I am a master of last hit and deny, thus even though they had Lich King lane up with me early to harass and deny me of experience... it was futile! Guess what happened after 15 minutes? OWNAGE!!

I shall tell you some of my highlights in the game. Since it was a 3v3 game, all of them (3 nukers with a dagon each) stuck together in the mid lane and started charging all at the same time. Of course my allies were too afraid to face them, so I had to become the primary offense. I assimilated all my energy to forge my net of doom and whichever opponent I chose... died in a blink of an eye. *guffaw*

The second game was in -ar mode. In this game, I got the "Batman" Necrolic. How I pity those losers... before they realize it... I was 3 levels higher than them already. Actually, they were really lucky that this was my first time using this character. It took me 45 precious seconds just to be able to time my last hit perfectly. That delayed my farming by more or less 600 gold. Nevertheless, it doesn't really matter. I am the master denier!! *guffaw*

Anywayz, as a lesson for you dota-lovers out there... let me give you a little tip from the greatest DotA master: the secret to winning DotA games is simple: Timing + Deny + Talent (or Practice) = OWNAGE!!! Trust me ^_^

By the way, I apologive for not being able to post replays for these amazing action-packed games. It's because my friends were so ashamed of themselves that they closed the game before I had the chance to save the replays. But have no fear, it shall not happen again.

Hi, my name is Lawrence Tan and this is my personal blog. It is entitled My Dota Adventures because I love dota. I will be telling you all about my triumphs, stories about my victories and my way of trash talking my puny opponents.
Every game is a battle. I always do my best in OWNING my opponents. The smell of victory is always ensured in my games, mind you, my victory. *guffaw*

Now about my ingame skills. Did you know that it takes five, and I mean FIVE characters, not just any characters, but they must be disablers to bring me down? And that only happens if I lose my ultimate dota concentration due to distractions. Other than that, its impossible to even dream about killing me. :) Even the very lucky players had a hard time to bring me to 1/2 of my hitpoints. *guffaw*

Bash, Deryk, Allen and Anco are my usual practice dummies. They are a little bit better than the DotA AI I spent months practicing on BUT they are not enough for me. They can only stare at my Godlike skills. Even if all four of them have the windwalk skill and dagons level four, they still failed to bring my hitpoints down to 1/2. With one blink of an eye, even before they can click windwalk to escape my wrath, I see their souls floating in the air and my music plays again. (Refer to my profile for my favorite music) Even if its easy to count from zero to one, you wont be counting anything when you look at my deaths column. *guffaw*

I play with those losers (refer to the names above) usually every tuesday and thursday. Whatever the items, whatever the heroes, whatever the strategy.... they are all null and void against me. *guffaw*

Do you still go to the DoTA Pooptal? Those people who refer to that site are wasting their time reading crap. Why go for those forgotten and very ineffective techniques, when you can get the best from here. Anything about dota, i have it here. Replays? Ownage guaranteed. Character builds? You wont even notice the difference between the characters anymore. Tips? Learn OMGWTFHOWTHEHELLDIDHEDOTHAT techniques in every game.

So, read and learn from my techniques. You got nothing to lose, but happiness to gain. This is a perfect example that the best things in life are free.
